This heavily sherried 18-year-old Springbank has been bottled by Mark Reynier as part of his Renegade series. Distilled in 1995, this sherry hogshead was aged for 10 years in Campbeltown and then moved to Bruichladdich for a further eight years.

Well. this is very nice and pleasant. the sherry feels and maybe overpowering the spirit a bit. but its certainly a Springbank: sherry flavors, bitter orange, black pepper and mild smoke . very enjoyable dram (the score is such due to the price - I expect more from this price range)
