Bottler's Tasting Notes
"Wonderfully dark in colour from its Sherry wood maturation, the complex nose reveals a full, fruity sweetness - tempered by a certain maritime quality. The body is light; the palate surprisingly fresh, carrying initally a hint of dark chocolate, followed swiftly by a drier, salty nuance. Its finish is long, salty, warm and spiced-fruit in style"

Colour is dark. Not overly sweet, I thought a hint of maple. This is a fantastic real scotch. Drink with a dash of water to help bring out the complexity.
