The only generally available distillery bottling from Inchgower, usually a key part of the Bell's blend. It's also not one that independents see much of, so this is one of your only chances to try the output from this quietly elegant distillery.

The Inchgower whiskey is in a class of its own, absolutely knocks the socks off Your 15yr old supermarket whiskeys like the Glenfiddich 15 and for same kind of price. It will be a shame if it’s going to be discontinued,
Bought one of these earlier in the year. It’s fast becoming one of my favourites. Slightly vinous (spicy pickles) on the nose, with plenty of brine, as well as being malty. Fierce on the back of the tongue with a lovely salty hit. Medium lasting finish with an underlying dryness. This is good value complex whisky.
Brought a bottle of this during our last trip to Scotland from the Dalwhinnie distillery bottle shop. Such a great single malt for the price. Elegant and complex. Spice and bitterness give way to a lovely sweet finish that is more on the dry side. Flavours of apple, citrus and stewed fruits are delivered with such intensity for a whisky with such a light mouthfeel. Goes down so well and is very VERY drinkable. Get a bottle of this, you won’t be disappointed.
Light but polished whisky. Soft oak, brine and plenty of malt on the nose. Clear, fresh and mild but good quality. White wine flavours. The cask doesn't dominate here but allows the malted barley to shine.
I drank a Cadenhead's edition (11YO), mmm. Very chocolatly, with raisins and mentholly ending. Yum!!!
