Try one - you may be hooked! 50ml Gin of choice 20ml Jack Rudy Tonic Syrup 10ml Sugar Syrup (or teaspoon of sugar) Boiling water Orange twist Combine gin, tonic syrup and sugar syrup in a mug or heatproof stem glass, stir well, top up with boiling water then garnish with an orange twist....

    Anonymous,

just bought two bottles. To be honest, its ok but really not that good. Not much flavour ( a bit like American coffee) Poured a gin and tonic tonight, my wife went, Wow thats nice.......Schweppes. Don't waste your money on this. they may love it it in poncey cocktail bars.

    The alchemist,

I've recently become a bit of a tonic snob and so only use fever tree, or at least I was before I discovered this lovely stuff. The best thing about Jack Rudy tonic is that it allows the flavour of the gin to shine through. You can also experiment with different sparkling water depending on your preference and even depending on the gin. Harrogate water is so far my favourite as it is quite gentle, but if you prefer it fizzier you could pair it with a more heavily carbonated water. I tried fever tree alongside this with the same gin and what a difference fever tree now just makes it far too sweet. Although the other benefit of this is that if you prefer a sweeter G&T you just add a little more jack Rudy.... In short this tonic syrup is, as others have said, a complete game changer.

    Sophie,

Brought this for my other half for Xmas who is a bartender and a gin lover , he loves the tonic syrup and has already made a cocktail recipient with it to add to the menu at his workplace. I also love this too in a G & T
