East London Liquor Company's Demerara Rum is made with Guyanese Demerara sugar and then distilled in the world's last surviving wooden column still. Aged in ex-bourbon casks for three years, this has notes of spicy vanilla.

I was pleasantly surprised at the smoothness of this for the price, I enjoyed it as a sipping rum, although it's not terribly strong in flavour

Surprisingly delicious with Tizer.

Very good indeed. First time I've tried any ELL's spirits and I'm impressed. Seems like (you never know with a rum) an honest Demerara rum with the barrel aging giving it a sophisticated dryness without overpowering it. Nice on it's own or in coke.
