Aberfeldy 16 Year Old was released in 2015 as part of The Last Great Malts series. Matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, this has lovely balance between sweetness and spiciness.

    Pretty smooth with a sweet taste. I like the aged 16 years a lot better than the aged 12 year. Smoother and more sweet to the palate

    Tried the 12, 16 and 21 at a tasting event And all three are wonderful options . Loved the 16 the best due to the sherry cask finish . Will certainly be the next whisky I purchase

    not a bad whiskey tastes sweet to me but it does seem to have a bit of strong taste for a ABV of %40 and I think it's pretty expensive for what it is there are more whiskeys our there that are better and cost less.

    Was really looking forward to trying the 16, I’m a huge fan of the 12 year old, and to me the 12 year old is far better than this, the 16 year old is somewhat of a disappointment, it’s no bad as such, but it’s just not that good either
