Awarded 89 points by Wine Enthusiast magazine, this was originally designed to compete with Jack Daniel's, which it did so well that JD (unsuccessfully) sued. Nonetheless, it is still a great whiskey in its own right.

I've been drinking the Ezra Brooks 90 Proof nor nearly 5 years now. Majority of the I would enjoy it with as a cola cocktail, which in my opinion is better than the classic Jack and Coke combo. Beside being paired with cola, Ezra with a large ice cube is the best option. Allowing the ice to slowly dissolve brings out the caramel note within the bourbon. I would definitely recommend Ezra Brooks to those who want to experience bourbon without breaking the bank.

Ezra rocks. Has been my "go to" bourbon for over forty years. Some friends and others in the cost-is-no-object crowd rave about this whiskey, that whisky etc., etc . By any reasonable measure Ezra will carry its own weight as a four rating.
