This yuzu-infused sake comes from the Ume No Yado brewery in Japan's Nara prefecture. Yuzu is a citrus fruit indigenous to Japan that's close to a cross between a mandarin and a lime.

Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit that tastes a bit like a cross between a mandarin orange and a lime.
In this case the sake has been infused with yuzu to give it its distinctive style. It has a very lovely floral, fruity aroma, and on the palate it is deliciously crisp and moreish.

Absolutely love this yuzu sake! The citrus notes are wonderful and refreshing, while not overpowering the smooth sake underneath. Best served chilled over ice.
