Once got really drunk on it neat - (not a good idea!) but mixed with 7up its very pleasant. We call the mix a snowball in the UK.

Warnincks is an amazing, thick yellow substance. As young (Scottish) kids, we were handed big glasses of it with seltzer. Our mom used to make a decent version herself, with lots of lemon juice. What got our attention is that she put the eggshells in along with everything else (no doubt concerned about calcium in our diet).

I''ve always liked drinking Advocaat. Maybe it''s intended to be used with a mixer, lemonade for example, but I just drink it neat or with ice if I have it.
