Cambridge Dry Gin is an all-year round gin from the distillery which used to only sell seasonal releases. This is a combination of Macedonian juniper, blackcurrant leaf, basil, rosemary, lemon verbena, rose petals, violet petals and angelica seed. Perfect in a G&T.

Best gin I have tasted

I bought a bottle of this for my partner for Christmas and let's just say it didn't get to see in the New Year. Cambridge really is exceptional gin. I know, I know...we all now 'know our gins' but this London Dry is just sooooooo dry, so delicate, it dancing on entry like a garden fairy across the tongue; a thing of real beauty with lip smacking umami yet still truly English evoking memories in the nose alone of morning Cambs mists, wildflowers in parks & meadowlands, farms at dawn. Over the top? Not really. These distillers are a small operation setting up shop by converting a house into a chemistry lab. True genius. So recommend? Well I was inspired enough to write to them to thank them. And if you find their Japanese botanicals version anywhere (pricey & rare) buy that too, though please no mixer for the oriental version...just straight from the cooler with a twist as the purest of all pure floral gin Martini's. It puts James Bond and his vodka Vesper firmly to bed! All round amazing spirits.
