I did try this gin in Inverness, it is a nice gin. Very smooth.
I first tried Rock Rose gin 3 years ago on the recommendation of the barman at the wonderful Kylesku Hotel in the far north west of Scotland. He served it with Mediterranean fever tree tonic, a slice of orange and a sprig of rosemary. I have never enjoyed a G and T as much. Rock Rose is now my very favourite gin. Pink grapefruit works well with it as a change from orange.
I have used Rock Rose for 3 years after a recommendation while in Dornoch Scotland. It is hard for any other gin to stay with Rock Rose. I do not make G&T with this gin. It stands on its own. My recent purchase of 2 bottles is for gifts this year. My own gift is having found Whiskey Exchange!
