Relaunched in 2016, Green Label is arguably the richest horse in the Johnnie Walker stable. This blended malt whisky travels the regions of Scottish whisky production and conveys the whirlwind of flavours to your mouth. Hearty.Tasting Notes (1)

Tasting Notes by The Whisky Exchange
Rich and softly smoky, with background notes of chocolate and fragrant sandalwood.
Fresh fruit and grass lead into stewed fruit, soft spice, nuts and coffee.
Long and spicy.
For my opinion the best Johnny for the money. I love Talisker and Caol Ila and they dominate in taste.
This was the malt that got me hooked from deluxe blends on ice. For me Diageo's jewel in the crown, and superb value for 15yo spirit. Sweet and cut grass on the nose. Smooth with a little smoke on the palate, and spice on the finish, and then the hint of peat comes back right at the end. A delightful, and such enjoyable dram. Will always make sure I have a bottle of Green Label to hand.
Decent blend, Talisker dominated, personally I prefer the black label that's my favourite & it's cheaper.
A very nice every-day-dram! Try to have one at home at all times
I really enjoy the Green label as my everyday dram. I also find it funny how people who pretend to be scotch experts criticize the green for being a "blended malt". Most Single Malts are blended/vatted at the distillery with multiple barrels, not from a single barrel. This is a fantastic scotch and prefer it to most.
