Product Description
Long-aged Bunnahabhain is a wonderful thing, even more so when it's aged in a sherry butt. This 34 year old is rich and complex with notes of allspice, black pepper, dark chocolate and dried fruit.
Impeccable, flawless, and extremely drinkable. 90/100. Serge Valentin, whiskyfun.com

Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose
Characterful, evocative nose filled with bonfire embers, leather shoes, egg-custard tarts, rich spicy aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove, Demerara sugar, crème brûlée and bitter chocolate. Makes you dive in for a sip immediately!.
Palate
Ripe fruits at first – poached rhubarb, candied strawberries – then roasted almonds and hazelnuts, along with study, spicy notes of cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg, with a gutsy sprinkling of black pepper. There’s also a strong dark-chocolate note binding everything together, along with dried fruit and a whiff of wooden desks and second-hand bookshops.
Finish
The rich spices from the oak mingle beautifully with the fragrant, fruity notes. The flavours last a very long time.
Comment
Absolutely delicious, this is a complex, characterful dram loaded with flavour.
