    Intense bitter-sweet burned sugar taste neat, firey but enjoyable. Also can serve as a stand-in for 151 Demerara in classic tiki recipes like the Zombie, although not quite the same as the genuine article. The best thing I've made with this, though, is a semi-traditional grog: 1 part lime juice, 1 part simple syrup, 2 parts Woods, a couple of dashes of bitters (Angostura/Elemakule Tiki/whatever you like!), shake with crushed ice & open pour into rocks glass

    This is the only rum I drink. All others pale into insignificance. Good and strong but not bitter in flavour it leaves a pleasant aftertaste. It is quite mellow and does not put your mouth on fire. Drink it neat or mixed, either way it goes down nicely and reasonably priced too. Thoroughly recommended.

    This is a great rum! Not only will it blow your head off being 57%, it has a great dark cinder toffee flavour that is delicious neat as well as in cocktails. Will definitely be ordering another bottle!
