      Fruity on the nose, with raisins, currants and sultanas, as well as apple crumble and baked bread aromas, but not overblown.

    • Palate

      Much more generous on the palate – waves of fruit and spice. Rich, sweet spices coupled with dried fruit and Earl Grey tea. Very full-flavoured and moreish.

    • Finish

      Good balance between dried fruit and spices.

    • Comment

      The secret to this whiskey is the stylish way it balances the opulent fruit and spice with the more measured oaky notes. Complex stuff.

    It’s pretty mono-dimensional. Strong flavours of butterscotch and banana creme. Not bad for sure but not great. Very sweet to me, but who am I to judge.

    I like a wide and varied range of whisky. I don’t mind a bourbon but usually I turn them into an old fashioned or some such due to their I ate sweetness. I bought a bottle of this last week and actually, verbally, wowed. I think this is fantastic. Lovely depth, a creamy finish. Beautiful

    Lovely! A real smooth sipping whiskey with lots of flavours developing. Not cheap, but worth it for an upgrade over your "regular" bourbon and sour mash whiskeys.
