Lp comes from the south of Islay from a distillery known for its richness of flavour. Lp7 combines the modern ashy style with some older fruit-driven spirit, resulting in a great deal of complexity and smoke. Serge Valentin of Whiskyfun.com scored it 89/100pts.

Nose
A really gentle nose, delicate and fresh, with wood smoke, fresh cut peat and After Eight mints. Spice develops with time in the glass.

Palate
On the palate the whisky comes alive. A strong scent of lavender is turned by the salty Islay wind, bringing out notes of smoked salmon and sweet whisky sauce with smoky vanilla. Salted caramel and vanilla cake flavours follow along with the distillery’s classic character – iodine and minerality.

Finish
Sweet and salty caramel bonbons with pungent but clean medicinal and menthol notes.

Nose: Light toffee and lime Mouth: Begin with leather. Wood and oil in u get middle part. Fruity (slightly pear) ending. Smoky in all tasting process.
