Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes

  • Tasting notes by The Whisky Exchange

    • Nose

An expressive nose, with the expected juniper joined by citrus and notes of freshly cut grass.

    • Palate

Fruity with complex layers of flavour – zingy orange, spicy clove and juniper.

    • Finish

      Clean, fruity and long lasting.

  • Tasting Notes by Stuart P (The Whisky Exchange)

    • Nose

Big, expressive nose of clean juniper, freshly cut grass and cherry blossom, along with orange peel, floral notes and a touch of herbs. Very enticing.

    • Palate

Mouthfilling and fruity, with zingy orange lifting the base notes of juniper and clove. Complex; layers of flavour reveal themselves over time.

    • Finish

      Clean, fruity, and long lasting.

    • Comment

The higher ABV adds weight and punch – this would work wonderfully well in a Martini.

    Andrew Page,

This is a great gin, but compared to Cotswolds dry gin, doesn't compare and twice the price.

    Jenny 54,

My very favourite gin, I've tried lots. I know that's tough, but it has to be done! Always come back to this one. Beautifully aromatic, prettily cloudy when you add the tonic. All round refreshing flavours.

    Chip,

Tried it as unknown at the Salamander, Bath. Good gin in a good pub.
