'El Candado' is Spanish for 'the padlock', and the bottle closure is the very same. This is an exceptional and moreish Pedro Ximenez that's great as an ice-cream sauce, too.
This is a staggeringly rich, sweet, deep coloured sherry that has amazing complexity and represents super value. 94/100. Robert Parker

An exquisite, sweet desert Sherry. Has a syrupy texture. Good chilled on it's own. Wonderful with Madeleines. Definitely good poured over ice cream.
