    Malcolm Davies,

Slightly sweet and pronounced vanilla and fruit flavour, works very well with Christmas pud Instead of port or dessert wine.

    Wandering Eye,

Reminds me of craigellachie 13 yo. Its sweet and spicy. Complex enough for me. After taste is long...pretty long. It lingers. Pretty strong statement for a 12 yo. I dont think they have 15 year statement for Oak cask, but would have loved to sample a more mature version of this.

It's good, but maybe too basic.

Good for a first-time introduction to Scotch. This was the first bottle I was given, when I asked for Macallan or Glenmorangie. It was recommended for its popularity (I'm guessing price??) I was given it again after trying many. A lot of burn, sweet, and a barely noticeable amount of peat. The usual toffee and oak notes. Glenfiddich is a better way to go, by far.
