Top quality whisky it is definitely one of my favourites
I was curious and if I'm honest it was the price that made me add it to an order. I'm glad I did because this is rather nice. Very pale and almost clear, it delivered all the elements of an Islay but without the harshness that some can find challenging. I can see how some Islay lovers could be disappointed, but think of this as an aperitif and not a digestif.... something different.
Looks like white wine/water,but has nice peaty, coastal tastes within.Quite impressive overall.Nice sweetish balance of flavours and same strength as Talisker...so hard not to enjoy!!
Great product, a lovely variation away from the strong kick that some Islay distilleries tend to have. I would highly recommend.
I was really surprised by this 8 yr old, a very nice whiskey, not harsh and reasonably complex and a very attractive price.
