A modern recreation of a style of glass used by blenders in the 1920s, developed in partnership with whisky writer Angus MacRaild. The onion shape helps to concentrate the aromas and flavours, leading to a greater sensory experience. This will hold up to 225ml.

The perfect glass for a perfect dram!!!
Intrigued, I ordered 4. The shape is unique - I typically taste with 4,6, and 8 oz "tulips". Eaux de Vie, Cognac, and Scotch are tasted. Positive: 1. Remarkable shape from the Art Deco - they could easily make a nice display. Kind of a shame to lock the design away in some cabinet. 2. Function - the nose is accentuated. If you do not inhale when you taste, (which is easy due to the tiny opening) the alcohol burn is subdued. Very revealing and very interesting. Possible negatives. The glass is heavy - not like crystal. Sturdy for sure. Also - a little expensive - it was almost $40/stem delivered to CA, USA. In sum, I like it and I recommend.
Just buy it. It is the best glass I have used to nose whisky. It accentuates the nose but also reduces the alcohol burn.
The best whisky glass. My expectations were high — and were surpassed.
