I was lucky enough to sample a small amount of this at the Covent Garden shop. A very potent but inviting nose, crammed with almonds, apricots, clean, bright "hogo" (if you can imagine), and oxyacetylene. The taste is similar, with heat, naturally, but an extremely well made spirit. More floral notes come through with adding water (which of course you should). I'll be using this with care as an "accent" rum for Tiki drinks. I cannot wait to get some of my own - I imagine it will be like using a super luxury version of Wray & Nephew overproof. Astonishing.
