It was bought as a gift but I had sampled this brand before and found it to be a very pleasant dram.

Very disappointed with this. If you like GL just buy Teachers instead, its less than half the price similar in many ways and allot more satisfying.

For a smokey blend, at ?42, this is an excellent dram! Surprisingly full nose, decent palate (good on the sides, not present on the tip and middle), no finish to speak of (meaning you have to keep drinking, to retain the pleasantness :-) ) This is a dram for just nosing and sipping.

Just drank a dram of Green Label for the very first time and I can tell that it's a complex blended with much more to offer when given time to breathe. However, I didn't quite get such a pleasant and easy Finish from the first dram but again I'm sure it will smoothen up after a while

Exceptional value. Dangerously drinkable. The hidden gem of the Johnnie Walker lineup.

Awesome. Smooth, fragrant, significantly less smoky than Johnnie Walker Double Black, but richer, more weighty and more complex than Johnnie Walker Black. So many flavors - vanilla, cinnamon, pie filling, nutty, caramel, dark chocolate. All wrapped up in a non-cloying sweetness with a complimentary hint of smoke. A rewarding "go-to" dram for special times.

Really exceptional, I drink this next to blue label a lot and actually now prefer it over the blue. It's got some really solid flavors and it's actually very smooth. Green is my favorite of the JW series.

Had a bottle of JWG las December as a gift, and this tastes better than Black. Best drink it neat or just a cube of ice.

Very rich and complex. Not one for sipping nonchalantly.

Although it is a very nice blended malt this 'new' Green Label is a pale imitation of its predecessor. What a shame.

"Nose" (diluted) Peat and sea air, damp Fall leaves, scent of gardening and getting caught in a light summer rainfall. "Palate" (diluted) The addition of a little water tones down the spiced honey and Graham cracker action, and in its place reveals some complexity. H2O definitely improves this whisky. It brings out to the forefront of the palate crystal clear spring water; takes the sweetness down a notch and in its place is some dray balsa wood with lime and blood orange flavors. Key lime pie for sure. "Finish" (diluted) Part your lips and breathe and taste the smoke drying on your palate. Oak, faint dry sherry and black pepper.

Thank God it's back! I hope this fine product will soon be available to the European markets without restrictions (Currently restricted to 5800 bottles for Germany & Austria, sadly - and I own one!)
