10 Year Old Bourbon Cask
- Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
- Distillery Bottling
A limited-edition bottling of Edradour's single malt, matured in first-fill bourbon barrels for 10 years. Limited to just 1,772 decanter-style bottles which feature distillation and bottling date details, this is a beautifully presented release from the smallest distillery in the Highlands. The soft-gold whisky, bottled at natural cask strength, combines Edradour's classic style with coconut, tangerine and soft vanilla borrowed from the bourbon cask.
Edradour 2006 Reviews
Tasting notes from the producer:
Nose: Hints of lemon, peppermint and honey.
Palate: Intense, rich and substantial with dry fresh oak, vanilla and coconut. Adding water brings out fresh apple, mint, more honeyed vanilla and ripening gooseberries. The juicy texture in the mouth comes from the smallest traditional stills in Scotland.
Finish: Mellow and lingering spicy tangerine and soft leather.
