I thought I should give this a try, this Torys classic is not as strong as the usual whisky but that doesn't detract from the flavour. This is more like the 70 proof whisky of old, very easy to drink and a good entry level into the world of Japanese whisky. This is not as sophisticated as the more expensive examples but a very nice easy way to start the experience.

This is not a high level whisky, so do not expect single malt quality for $17 per bottle. For the price it is a very palatable drink. Best cut with water, drinking it neat burns like fire.
