A bottle of sherry-cask-aged Shochu from Toyonaga.
This is a rice-based shochu which has been aged in sherry barrels for seven years. The nose is classic oloroso sherry, the palate is smooth and elegant with the oak very well integrated. Just 400 bottles are produced each year. Dawn Davies MW

Absolutely exquisite. It has the creamy profile of a rice based spirit with all the Oak you would expect from a single malt. I’m a big whisky drinker and this rivals the very best I’ve had.
