Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and virgin Spanish oak from Galicia, this is a delightfully easy-drinking whiskey loaded with enticing spiciness and juicy fruit.Tasting Notes (1)
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Plenty of that classic toffee-popcorn aroma I find in grain, along with a touch of black pepper, floral notes and a hint of pencil shavings.
Rich, sweet and spicy – very easy drinking. Butter popcorn this time, joined by clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and mint. Delightful!.
The creamy grain and spiky spice balance out well.

I loved this whiskey. In the states it may be a bit expensive, but it's worth the extra price. Especially enjoyable if you prefer smooth, spice and fruit whiskies. It doesn't smack you in the mouth with any one characteristic, the taste slides and evolves as you continue to drink.
Nice single grain, cheapest of the M&M range, considering the price of Irish whiskey at the moment a good solid one. Nice on the nose, enjoyable to drink, lingers in a good way. I drink it straight, not tried any water or ice. Will need to try more single grains to really have a comparison but really enjoyed. Price v quality leaves me thinking 4.2 stars
I love this. The bourbon comes through lovely with a nice sweet finish. Will try keep this one for special occasions...... or not. We shall see.
