Aelder is an elixir from the team behind The Buck and Birch, a Scottish pop-up dining experience. This combines blended Scotch whisky, wild elderberries and other foraged botanicals. This fruity liqueur can be enjoyed with cheese, as an ice-cream sauce, or in an alternative Kir in a glass of sparkling wine.

Brought a couple tiny bottles back with me from Scotland 2 years ago. I just opened my last one. Bittersweet because this is an elixir of the Gods! When the world settles a bit I may have to splurge and have some shipped to me.

Really wonderful, original spirit. Complex flavours but really approachable. Lovely as a modifier in cocktails but also just lengthened with tonic in a spritz
