A very special release of Hampden estate rum from Habitation Velier, created in celebration of French retailer La Maison du Whisky's 60th birthday. It is a blend of two different styles of pot-distilled rum from the distillery – making it still a Pure Single Rum under the classification pioneered by Velier owner Luca Gargano – LROK (Light Rum Owen Kelly) and HLCF (Hampden Light Continental Flavoured), both fruity marks from the distillery. The resulting cask-strength rum is intense, with orchard and tropical fruit notes as well as aromatic citrus and floral touches.
