    Richard Smart,

    Extremely nice and pleasant whisky

I recently purchased this when I noticed it was priced at £24 at the local Co-op. I was initially skeptical due to the cost, but I must say, it tasted v good for the price. Comparing it to a Glenfiddich 12 at £40, this is a commendable option for a budget whiskey.

Not good, aroma bland and taste is terrible. Like a cheap blended spirit. No taste, no warmth ….a very forgetful disappointing experience

I recently bought this for a banger of a price and tried it yesterday - it's not a rich whiskey by any means but you got to factor in the price - its sweet - a typical Speyside - the colour is nice even though its fully artificial - as per the price again - not much of a headache even though I drank a fair bit of it.Overall ,you can't really go wrong with this- if you get it on the cheap. It's the type of whisky you won't notice - either thats good or bad depending on what you're used to drinking. Strong 3 or a light 4 stars is my overall rating basically due to the price.

I wanted to give this Whisky a try after reading about in a book and seeing it was rated on the higher end of Sweetness and I would say it’s a nice sort of simple and beginners type whisky. It’s got a nice Amber colour and it’s tasty but I wouldn’t say wow it’s a mindblower when you drink it buts good enough. I think it does have a very slight burn which is surprising for a whisky of %40 ABV. but overall it’s a reasonably decent whisky a advantage is it’s price which is pretty good value.
