Distilled in 1994 at the now-closed Caroni distillery, this rum was aged in Trinidad until 2008 and then aged for a further nine years in Guyana. Independent bottlers Velier are known for their outstanding rums and this is no exception.

It’s a very very special rum. Very complex , you have to take a long time to appreciate this fabulous rum. drinking this is a unique and exceptionnal experience.

Oak tries to win this one, but the Caroni oily spirit still manages to defeat it. A very fine and rich expression of Caroni at an age (consider full tropical maturation) not to go past. A collector's delight, something to savour slowly while watching the world go by.
