A limited-edition single pot still Irish whiskey from Method and Madness that has been bottled exclusively for The Whisky Exchange. Initially matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, it was then finished in specially selected maple wood casks. Aromas of red apples, cinnamon spice and pecan tart fill the nose, complemented by notes of ripe banana, sticky toffee pudding and custard on the palate. The finish brings lingering notes of soft spice, sweet maple syrup and creamy vanilla.

    • Nose

      Sweet chicken waffles drenched in maple syrup, slightly savoury, malty undertones and candied orange peel fill the nose at first, followed by banana fritters, under-ripe pineapples, Scottish tablet and lemon curd aromas that pour out of the glass.

    • Palate

      Crystallised ginger, salted caramel and nougat sweetness to start, followed by more lemon curd, frozen maple syrup, black pepper and vanilla for days.

    • Finish

      White chocolate mousse, peanut butter blondies and tart-but-sweet raspberries linger in the finish.
