The first official bottling from the re-opened Glen Keith distillery in Speyside, which was revived in 2013 and whose spirits normally appear in blends such as Chivas Regal and 100 Pipers. This new, no-age-statement whisky is a gentle dram with notes of poached pears, honeycomb and vanilla toffee.

After the double cask Glen Scotia this whisky fell flat. It's just a bit boring. Boring on the nose and boring on the taste. I can't really pick anything out aside from really subdued honey and light fruity flavours. I don't dislike it but I certainly wouldn't buy again.

As many other reviews attest, this is a very 'drinkable' whiskey and what that means in tangible terms is that it doesn't have much of a bite. Picture the cowboy in the bar gritting his teeth after a sip of the local offering, well you won't get that with Glen Keith. It's so smooth and sweet it almost creates its own genre. I'd goes as far as to call it a 'family' whiskey. Anyone from a toddler to your grandmother could chug away on this one. Definitely worth the money!

Wow ,an inexpensive single malt but wow very smooth to drink the aroma of pear is very prominent and the after taste of sweet vanilla and toffee is just fabulous. IF your a new whisky drinker please do yourself a favour and buy this you wont regret it

A decent light malt for a great price. It’s a young malt, so the notes are not complex, it’s light and easy to drink. For the price you can’t go wrong
