The first official bottling from the re-opened Glen Keith distillery in Speyside, which was revived in 2013 and whose spirits normally appear in blends such as Chivas Regal and 100 Pipers. This new, no-age-statement whisky is a gentle dram with notes of poached pears, honeycomb and vanilla toffee.

A surprisingly easy drinker. I came upon this by chance as it was a gift to my brother who doesn't drink whiskey (I swapped him for a bottle of rum) and I have been pleasantly surprised by it's qualities. Is it the most complicated drink? Not at all and if you're looking for deep and interesting whiskey I'd suggest something else. Instead it's strengths lay in being easy with bright and light flavour. I know it's subjective but I get a hit of lemon sherbet both in the nose and on the tongue. It washes away quickly and doesn't have a tremendous mouth feel about it but there are times when this is what you want and so I would recommend this to sit alongside some other brands as a way to broaden your selection and maybe even as nice easy entry to whiskey for friends or family to try too.
Delighted with this, shame the cork sheared off and when I tried to remove the remaining cork it just fell into the bottle.
I've had 3 goes at this now.Everyone a chore.Best GK sticks to blending. For £20 it's marginally better than bottom shelf blends
Not a Highland Park or a Lagavullin but neither is the price. I bought it for less than the well known blends and it was amazing value and very smooth. Ideal for newcomers to single malts
After the double cask Glen Scotia this whisky fell flat. It's just a bit boring. Boring on the nose and boring on the taste. I can't really pick anything out aside from really subdued honey and light fruity flavours. I don't dislike it but I certainly wouldn't buy again.
