    Wow so much flavour in this one. I read a review which I really liked, in terms of summing up my own experience, heatseekerwhisky.blogspot.com did it well. Myself I found this to be a good dram in cooler weather. I'm really starting to get into Canadian rye as the next frontier for my peated malt fixation. Same idea with massive flavours but less subtlety, and more sheer force. Really fun and always good to surprise guests here in the UK where Canadian whiskies are sadly underrepresented.

    I was initially disappointed with this on first tasting, but after a while and with a splash of water the butterscotch really came out in the taste. The smell was also for me very fresh and I'm sad that it's all gone. Definitely is on my buy again list.

    A very smooth Canadian Whiskey, If you do not want that harsh Scotch kick, , then this is the drink for you. One of the better Canadian whiskeys.

    I recently purchased a bottle and I am working my way through it. A little overpowering for me. I find the Canadian Club Chairman's Select 100 % Rye to be smoother and more balanced. Surprising, as the Crown Royal has received more accolades and a little pricier. Try it before you buy it, if possible.
