Nice clean zesty whisky with a tad of salt & smoke on the finish not bad if your taste buds like it on the sharper side?
New to whiskey and this is the best I have had so far will be getting it again for sure
I was given a bottle of the 12 year old as a present. Cannot believe how smooth and silky the dram is. I’m not a big whiskey drinker, but I absolutely love this, so accessible and warm on the tongue. It’s my new favourite x
Citrusy (lime, grapefruit and tangerine) and maritime with peardrops, bananas, canned pineapple, spent matches and a gentle smoky whiff. Enjoyable!
This new bottling is not a patch on the old 12yr old. It used to be my favourite whisky but despite OP assuring me its the same whisky, my nose and taste buds disagree. I'm sad really, because this new bottling is bland. There are much better whiskies out there in this price range.
