Domus Grappa is the work of Italian bartender Massimiliano Favaretto who was inspired by the aromas of grappa he experienced growing up in his homeland. This bottling was made with the Nebbiolo grape, a powerful but aromatic variety used to make the famed wines of Barolo, then aged in French oak for 18 months. Expect aromas of red fruits, vanilla and a hint of chocolate.

As a massive fan of the Nebbiolo grape, and also of quality Grappa, I couldn't resist buying a bottle of this! It is completely lovely. Very smooth, with a refreshing, palate cleansing taste, and long lasting flavor. Shame about the cheap looking label though... I would definitely buy it again.
