Product Description
Named after the distillery's famous No.1 Vaults on Islay, which have been home to some of the world's most celebrated whiskies, this is a creamy single malt that has been matured solely in first-fill bourbon casks. The sweet vanilla notes blend deliciously with Bowmore's classic notes of coastal peat and citrus fruit.

Outstanding genuine Scotch whiskey! My buddy and I have been sipping it for half a dozen years. Tastes even better than more expensive brands. Smooth with a nice finish.
Excellent NAS from bowmore. Sweet vanilla and cream on the nose and palate from the bourbon casks, turning smoky on the finish really good and on a par with the 12yo imo.
A nice blend with a very lovely Smokey flavour. Very pleasing to the palette.
I remember the first time i discovered this whisky I was in my local liquor store looking for something cheep (it was dark times) and I came across this whisky. I was like “caramel color no age statement” probably trash but i bought it ether way cuz it was on sale. when I got home I Tried it and was like meh it’s a bit harsh or whatever but I didn’t want to give up on it though so every night that week I poured myself a dram to see if there was something to discover... BOY I WAS RIGHT! at the end of the week I fell in love, it was the perfect balance of peat and highland style scotch. I’ve had lafroig 10, ardbeg ugidal and I find they didn’t have as much complexity as this (the ardbeg was at a party so don’t count this as a review.) the Finnish is longish and it kinda changes. in the beginning is smoky and brine”y” and after a bit you get bourbon notes it’s pretty cool. I’m running out of this to say so I’m going to end here but I highly recommend if you’re new to peat cuz now I’m obsessed. Got my eyes on you laguvulin
It's cheaper than Laphroaig 10. But pretty much the same taste. Great value for peat lovers.
