Equipo Navazos was started by a group of friends who wanted to work with and source amazing wines from various soleras, and single casks from the best producers in the region. They believe that this wine is around 80 years old. It was made originally from blending the musts of Palomino and arrope (a grape must syrup made normally from Pedro Ximenéz) that gives it its dark colour. This is an intense experience that should not be attempted by the faint hearted: expect a massive concentration of dried fruits, liquorice, prunes and sweet balsamic – Dawn Davies MW
