A Highland Park whisky inspired by spring and summer on Orkney, the follow up to 2017's The Dark. It's a fresh and zesty take on the HP character, switching out the more traditional sherry casks for refill American oak casks and focusing on pear, vanilla and soft spice.

    It's easy to think that this is a lot of money for a 17 year old but this is an absolute gem of a whisky and worth every penny. In 30 years of enjoying whisky this is in my top 10. I had to buy a few

    I had tasted the Highland Park the Light 17 year old back in September 2019 while touring Orkney. The flavour profile was close to the one on your site but I did not think the smoke was that strong. I gave this whisky a score of 91/100 and would recommend it at this price.
