St Joseph 'Luc' Christian & Martine Rouchier 201675cl / 12.5%
A show-stopping wine from Christian and Martine Rouchier, made in the famous St Joseph region of France's northern Rhône. Produced from 60-year-old vines in just 1.5 hectares of organically-worked land, and made entirely without sulphur, this is absolutely stunning.
The palate is delicious, with black fruit and menthol from the nose, plus additions of black pepper, violets and a finish that just keeps on going. Dawn Davies MW

St Joseph 'Luc' Christian & Martine Rouchier 2016 Reviews
Tasting notes from Dawn Davies MWEvery now and again a wine stops you in your tracks – and this one certainly did. The fruit comes from 60-year-old vines from an absolutely tiny parcel of land that is worked organically. The nose has white pepper, menthol and dark black fruit, and just opens up with a note of frangipane and wet stones. The palate is delicious with that black fruit and menthol from the nose, plus additions of black pepper, violets and a finish that just keeps on going – Dawn Davies MW
