An increasingly hard to find bottling, as it was discontinued a while back, from the closed and now redeveloped Rosebank distillery. A victim of the early 1990s downturn in the whisky market and producer of some beautiful whiskies.

Their 12 year old is absolutely delicious , not what I expected of a lowland malt. Really easy on the palate, leaving a wonderful aftertaste. Sad it is a bit pricey now.
Lots of glowing reviews for this product I would echo assuming this was a readily available 12 yo whisky. In the £40-£60 range I'd recommend this wonderfully delicate and balanced malt, but this has become for the collectors only in my opinion. If that's you then fill your boots, but if you're just after a good whisky there are many tastier bottles at a fraction of the cost.
I was lucky enough to have a bottle of this gifted to me in the early 2000's and it took several years for the bottle to empty. What was it like? Imagine being a bee in some otherworldly hive that produces whisky from the nectar. Flowers, honey, a little alcohol, smoother than the smoothest and so good I'll be purchasing another bottle myself!
Very light; not smoky. Very smooth with a drop or two of water.
I've known the whisky for a while now, so I know the taste is on point, no complaints there! Delivery was on time, everything went smoothly. Only thing I'm a bit dissapointed in, is that you just get the bottle... For this price I'd expect it to come in some sort of box or wrapping... Other than that no complaints whatsoever!
