A 21-year old Campbeltown from Douglas Laing, bottled for the eXtra Old Particular range. Distilled in October 1996 and bottled in March 2018. 21 seems to be a good age for Springbank, and this bottle continues that trend, carrying the distillery's classic combination of maritime charm, farmyard style and malt goodness.

    • On the nose catch the early malty gristiness and its distinct beachy saline quality. The palate subtly carries seaweed, salt, then sweeter malt and mocha flavours, while the finish is interestingly "burnt" with a biscuit, honeyed and late vanilla style.
