A 29-year-old bottling of Fettercairn from Signatory Vintage, part of the Cask Strength Collection. You don't see many independent bottlings from the distillery, and this is about as pure an expression of the distillery character as you can get – distilled on 7 December 1988 and bottled on 24 January 2018 from a hogshead. Well-balanced, with the oak not overpowering the spirit.
