Made just a few miles from the centre of Epernay's town centre, this is a very fine non-vintage Champagne from one of the top-flight traditional houses. Alfred Gratien is the only Champagne house apart from Krug to carry out all its fermentation in oak barrels, something that gives greater complexity and depth to its wines.
Notes of sweet pastry, orchard fruits, citrus, white flowers and butter are accompanied by a fine mousse, a touch of minerality and a smooth texture.
