A sherried Laphroaig from Hunter Laing, bottled for the First Editions range at 16 years old. This was distilled in 2002 and matured in a refill sherry butt before bottling in 2018. It's a bit of a peat monster, with dark sherry fruit poking up through the maritime smokiness.Tasting Notes (1)
- Iodine (tcp)
A sweet, peaty nose with notes of iodine and seaweed. The palate is dominated by peat, with a hint of prunes and marine influence. The finish is long and dry, with lingering peat.
