The GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 7 continues our tradition of marrying the finest Spanish oak sherry casks with our robust Highland malt. In this expression, maturation in Oloroso casks has developed a smooth, nutty and rounded character, with notes of Highland toffee, walnut cream, sultana bread and figs. Maturation in Pedro Ximénez casks has contributed plum, cherry and chocolate. Batch 7 offers a unique opportunity to get to know the richly sherried yet smooth and mellow side of GlenDronach cask maturation at natural cask strength.

I liked batch 6 so much at a whiskey bar that I bought two of the only available batches which were batch 7. Sorry to say that they were no where near batch 6. Tastes a bit young and a lack of integration. I love Glendronach but this one falls short. If you have this whiskey it is best served after a 30 minute breathe session

This is 3rd bottle I have bought in 1 month. I am not an alcoholic just an unfortunate person who has friends with good taste in single malt whisky. Try visiting the distillery its very informative and the staff are superb.

Really quite smooth, nutty and subtle for 58% – not what I expected... great flavours and long, lingering finish. Excellent... highly recommend!!
