Have tried many rums, and this one is the best by far... some others are good but go too sweet, this offers the perfect balance, and its very slight rawness makes it fractionally better than the 15, in my opinion. Ron Zacapa and Diplomatico are its closest rivals, but the former isn't worth the extra cost, and Diplomatico comes across a little too sweet for me.

Lovely rum this,at only 40%,but still very nice flavours and no added sweeteners...good value atm.. The 15 is superb too.. May try the 21 as special treat one day!

A nice smooth rum, not spiced which I preferred. Really good value, but mainly the availability.

El Dorado 12yo is a superb rum. The problem with drinking run this good is, it makes ' ordinary' cheaper rums just not good enough any more. You only get what you pay for rings true. Try the 21 yo. It'll blow you away.
