This is a 3cl sample from the original bottling of:
Henri Giraud Ratafia Champenois Solera 1990-2013
Ratafia is the 'other' drink of the Champagne region and is well worth your attention. Made from the leftover grape juice from a harvest, plus herbs, and a fortifying spirit such as brandy, ratafia is a delicious sweet liqueur that is a must-try for anyone who loves the Champagne region and its culture. This version from the renowned Champagne house Henri Giraud is particularly good and has notes of stone fruit, grapes and candied orange peel.
