Product Description

A brilliant dark rum for mixing, produced in Bermuda since 1806. The name comes from the black wax originally used to seal the bottles. Rich and well balanced this has enticing notes of butterscotch, vanilla and caramel. The signature serve is with ginger beer in a Dark 'n' Stormy.

    Jordan,

Love this rum, first tried it in Liverpool and was a fan straight away. I very mellow taste in my opinion. Would recommend

    Bertram Forbes,

Yes, nice but not a Bermuda product in terms of origin, only in blending. It it is made from imported distillate, from the Caribbean or Guyana or Dominican Republic. Bermuda has never had a rum distillery and has never grown sugar cane as a crop.

    Robert Crockett,

I'm a fan of Pussers and Woods Rum. Both have higher Vol%, but for taste alone Black Seal is in 3rd Position for taste.
